I've had a bit too much going on lately to post very much, and the fact that it takes forever to upload a picture doesn't help (@#$%^! dial-up!) That, and what keeps happening to my pictures during the uploading process? They look really detailed when I look at them on the photo editor, but when I upload them here they look like mush.
At any rate, I finally have an item that I've finished. These are some booties and a bonnet that I made for one of the other fellows and his wife. They're expecting a girl in late July. Raed seemed so tickled about having a girl that I wanted to make something very girly for the baby. I picked this pattern out of the "Star Baby Book" that I inheirited from my grandma. Of course, after I got started on this I realized that Raed and his wife are moving and this baby will be born in Arkansas in the middle of the summer--chances are these might not get worn that much.
My sister's baby is due in late July, so the next big task is going to be finishing the blanket and sweater that I've been working on.
